9.00       Arrival time – class door opens, children will self-register by finding their name for the board

Greeting/circle time – Staff greet the children with a morning song. We find out: the day of the week and what the weather looks like.
9:15 – 11.30 Structured Free Play – (Inside & Outside) Child initiated play and adult initiated activities. With access to all areas including messy, imaginative play, construction, physical play and exploration. Free flow to the garden in all-weather types.
10:00 – 11.00 Rolling Snack Time – Children and staff will share different foods and participate in conversations together in a relaxed, family-like environment.
10.15 – 11.15 Bathroom break / Nappy Change
11:40 Tidy up time – Tidy all areas, all children are encouraged to help to tidy up together
11:45 Group time – Focused age-related activity with staff and children. During this time the staff have special activities planned for the children to carry out. These activities, although planned, still provide the children room to explore and learn in their own unique way.
12.00 End of session
12.00 Start of afternoon session and lunch time
1.00 – 2.40 pm Structured Free Play – (Inside & Outside) Child initiated play and adult led activities with access to all areas including messy, imaginative play, construction, physical play and exploration. Free flow to the garden in all-weather types.

Additional Activities

Jamboree sessions – Tuesday afternoons 2.30pm with Reception Class from St Blaise singing and music group

Tatty Bumpkin Yoga – Wednesday mornings from 10.00am a qualified yoga instructor comes in to teach us how to be ‘Bendy, Giggly, Clever and String’.

Boogie Beat – Thursday afternoons every fortnight music and movement sessions based around familiar stories once per month we go to Stirling’s Care home and hold the session jointly with the elderly residents.

Welly Walks – Once per week we go on a walk around the local area
